NEW YORK: Award-winning architect Ed Ogosta, AIA, was asked by Vitrocsa to design the Swiss window manufacturer’s interactive booth for the 2018 AIA Conference on Architecture. At the Jacob J. Javits Center, June 21-23, Ogosta’s dramatic structure will showcase the company’s minimalist glass window and wall products (Booth #2531).

With the aim of showing the drama, elegance, and function that define products from Vitrocsa and its partner company Hirt, Ogosta placed a 12-foot x 18-foot sliding glass door at the front edge of the booth, enticing visitors to enter into the interior. On the opposite side is a customized shipping container from which a large aluminum-framed window rises and descends.
